Certainly one of my most important paintings. In the making from February through September 2020, created through what has been a very turbulent and transformative time for me. And the painting itself has also -paralelly- gone through a number of changes and reworkings - meditative work of staying open in that symbolical space and discovering it bit by bit - every element finding its its place slowly until the whole work felt compete.
